I just found this blog that features "What's on your work desk Wednesdays". That really sparked my interest because I don't know what's on my work desk on most days of the week. Every time I see a picture of a well organized desk or even one that resembles it, it makes me want to get in there and really organize my studio area. However, once I get there, with 101 unfinished projects, staying focused becomes a some what of an issue. As far as I get with that project is re-organizing my thoughts. For instance, what am I thinking, I know exactly where everything is (for the most part). Besides, once I start searching I find things that I forgot I had. I am not even sure what the top of the desk looks like, but it gets altered often enough with my continuing stash of art treasures that I am satisfied with the look of it and not bored enough to change it! If I do decide to proceed in that direction, I will probably check my iphone, I bet there's an app for that!

  1. I love this feature, I have seen it too but I may be too afraid to share it every wed, too messy :) Thanks for sharing.

  2. It is my experience that organizing your desk leads to organising your drawers, then your cupboards and before you know it, you can't remember where anything is, everything is too tidy to play with and a fortnight has passed. Go with your flow IMgirl - but please - share your desk!

  3. I often lose a whole day to clearing my desk, dining table, drafting table or any horizontal surface. That is the number one reason I have to procrastinate....I will work as soon as I get my space looking great. Then what do I do, make a bigger mess! Oh well, all part of the fun!! Have a good one!

  4. ha! we are sisters! i say... don't sweat the small stuff!!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment. You are a blessing to me!
