WOYWW - 352

What's on Your Work Desk Wednesday? WOYWW has been on the side bar of my blog for sometime now. Recently I cleaned my studio, well, to some degree. Not really throwing out anything, but just re-arranging and organizing, which would be a big help or so I thought. Regrets? this was really one of them. I really get use to looking for and finding my "stuff" where I last left it, maybe not where it belongs, but I know just where to look. Since my cleaning day, I have been forever searching for everything... it's a bit maddening. One might say it is nice to look at a well organized studio, but to actually work in one, does not work well for me. I like it all out where I can see and find it.

Although I am late for the party by one day, and my picture is not great,  I still decided to join in. I am curious to as to what other people have on their desk and for this Wednesday, this is what mine looks like. I am in the middle of "journal pages", it's a must, sort of like breathing.

Thanks for stopping by
Chow! and Happy Thursday!

  1. I know just how you feel, Kim. Every time I organize my studio, I can't remember where things are now. It looks nicer, but I don't know if it's worth it!

  2. I love having my studio organized but it took me a long time to get to that point and knowing just where everything was. I like to have thing easily accessible; they don't have to be right out in the open but easy to get to (like a box on the shelf behind me). As you saw when you visited I have a whole lot of nothing on my desk because it is in the process of being moved. It will take me years to find everything a good and proper home again. oh my. PJ #47

  3. I'm in the process of purging my studio. I've got way to much stuff myself... What always happens though is I always get rid of the things I eventually want to use. lol

    1. YES! I throw everything else away in the house and have no problem with that but when it comes to my studio, I hoard scraps! :)

  4. I find it fascinating to hear and see how other artist work. I like to keep my studio organized, and rearrange sometimes too. However, when I'm working on a project, it looks like a tornado flew through my studio by the time I finish.

    1. Mine too, but I have found that once I am finished with a project, I completely clean up.. that inspires me to get started with the next on a clean slate, also is helping to remember where I putting things since I have moved it all. :)
