THE FOREST GUARDIAN

What do we live for if not to make life less difficult for each other?" Geo.Elliot

This is my newest Santos Cage Doll, she stands a little over 17" tall. She has been a WIP for awhile. I just can't resist these making these when the inspiration shows itself.
She is a Guardian Angel of the Forest. (There are many)
These are some the photos of her back side. I have added some flowers and forest finds from Retro Cafe Art Gallery.

The Explore Life are words from Tim Holtz Remnant Rub Offs

Her wings are wood and have architectural wooden pieces added to her shoulders complimented with gold paint.

The leaf pieces below her neck are some of my rusty loved items in my stash and the little brass bee is a charm from Retro Cafe Art Gallery.

She is holding a heart from Sandra Evertson's line of Relics and Artifacts. The flame has been replaced with a crystal. It is her desire as a Forest Guardian Angel to light the way for all those who journey there.

The words are also rub on words from Tim Holtz's line and can be found at Retro Cafe Art Gallery.
I used a stamp and Brilliant Gold Stazon Ink to stamp her arms and cage pieces. Then I dotted the top base with a gold Pearl Pen.
To her head I added dried moss and greenery.

"If I keep a green bough in  my heart,
the singing bird will come"
Chinese Proverb
I gave the eggs a few rub on words and added some dried moss and greenery to the nest. I hope you enjoyed the journey, you never have to go alone in the dark.
XO
