I just had to share this easy peasy Heart Journal I purchased from Retro Cafe Art Gallery. It is the Chipboard Heart Journal with four chipboard hearts, 8 sides to create on and held together by two metal ring binders. The really great thing about this one is that you can choose to keep it a journal or you can use the hearts individually, string some ribbon or wire and design 8 different hanging hearts.
Some of my favorite supplies were used in this Heart Journal.
Papers from Jane Davenport's Paper Pad (altered and embellished with Love), Repetition Stencil from StencilGirl by Rae Missigman
Dina Wakely Washi Tape, Vintage Victorian Die Cuts, Acrylic paints, Gesso, White Gel Pen, Black Pit Pens, Pencil, Rubber Stamps and Chipboard Heart Book From Retro Cafe Art Gallery.
I started by using white gesso on all hearts, then tearing and adding paper from Jane's Paper Pad. Next I added water color and acrylic paint to the exposed areas. Then I went back after all was dry and added my Victorian Rose Die Cuts, more layers of paint, Stencil marks, wording, Stamps, and Washi Tape. Lastly, I added gold around the edges to finish off the hearts.
Below are the fronts and backs of the hearts:

The last thing is to insert your metal binder rings that holds them altogether.
Add some ribbon and some glitter netting and you have a fabulous Heart Journal that is sure to steal someone's heart.
Thank you for visiting and I would love for you to "Be Mine" by following my blog and visiting me on FB and IG. ( You can find this and other art in my Etsy Shop).
